The Swiss Ski Badge Cushion is an iconic design in Jan’s signature style, reminiscent of sew-on travel badges from the 1950’s and 60’s, in luxury cream and multicolour felt wool. Appliquéd and hand-embroidered with the famous Matterhorn mountain in the back ground with a shield bearing the Swiss flag, flanked by vintage wooden skis and poles.
The edges are finished with blanket stitched in red thread and it opens on the back with two mother of pearl buttons. It has been made by our very talented artisans, helping to keep alive the wonderful hand-embroidery skills which have been passed down through generations. It is destined to become an heirloom of the future.
