The tea cosy is as British as Roast Beef and each beautiful hand-embroidered piece has a hand made padded gingham inner in a contrasting colour. This is for ease of washing but also provides added insulation to keep the all important cuppa hot!
This truly regal Jan Constantine Crown Tea Cosy is hand embroidered in intricate detail onto either a rich cream or duck egg blue pure wool base which is blanket stitched around the outside in red. The detail on the crown is quite exquisite from the base right up to the cross above the heart. The jewels are all depicted by tiny French knots in red and cream.
