This truly English Country Garden collection is made in either pure wool or luxury linen/cotton and is hand-embroidered in exquisite detail depicting minute little flowers, trees and birds. The stitches are very elaborate and include leaf, stem, daisy, buttonhole satin and French knot to name a few. Each tea cosy has a handmade padded gingham inner in a contrasting colour which compliments the outer shell. This also adds insulation for keeping that all important ‘cuppa’.
This beautiful Jan Constantine Cottage Lady Tea Cosy depicts a bonneted lady picking flowers from a sumptuous herbaceous border with her cottage in the background. This design comes in pure wool in either classic Constantine red, steel grey or rich purple. Each tea cosy is hand finished round the edge in a contrasting blanket stitch.
