The Zodiac Gemini Star Sign Cushion is a masterpiece of appliqué and hand embroidery in black and cream felt wool with a striking central panel of soft pink adorned with two beautiful twins, the sign of Gemini. Intricately stitched with blanket stitch and chain stitch, the twins are framed by the classical Greek Key border. The edges of the cushion are finished with contrast blanket stitch and it fastens on the back with two mother of pearl buttons.
Gemini is an air sign, ruled by Mercury who, in ancient Roman mythology, was the god of merchants, travellers, games, business, and story-telling. Geminis are typically insightful, smart, cheerful, quick-witted, warm and charming. They are also expressive and extremely curious about the world around them.
