 This glorious red Edelweiss throw in pure wool felt is adorned with a beautiful alpine floral wreath in the centre and little floral sprays on each corner.  An abundance of delicate cream, blue and green Alpine flowers are appliquéd and hand embroidered in the old fashioned way with blanket stitch, chain stitch and French knots and he edges of the throw are blanket stitched with contrast thread.  

These lovely Edelweiss pieces have been hand embroidered by our very talented artisans, keeping alive the ancient, hands-on skills passed down through many generations.  We hope they will bring you great joy wherever they are displayed in your home.
