This beautiful cushion in deep green felt wool is appliquéd and hand embroidered with two beautiful red-crowned cranes in a striking combination of black and cream and the wings are intricately stitched with pale grey chain stitch feather detail. These graceful East Asian cranes are known in some parts of the world as symbols of luck, longevity and fidelity. Fluffy clouds complete the design and the edges are finished with black blanket stitch. The back of the cushion opens with two mother of pearl buttons.
These lovely cushions have been hand embroidered by our very talented artisans, keeping alive the ancient, hands-on skills passed down through many generations.
