Cancer Cushion (Black)

Cancer - 22 June - 22 July.  The Zodiac Cancer Sign Cushion is a masterpiece of appliqué and hand embroidery in black and cream felt wool with a striking central disc of inky blue adorned with the symbolic crab, the sign of Cancer.  Intricately stitched with blanket stitch, chain stitch and French knots, it is encircled by a classical Grecian wave border.  The edges of the cushion are finished with contrast blanket stitch and it fastens on the back with two mother of pearl buttons.

Cancer is a water sign and typically Cancerians are very ‘rooted’ people who love to surround themselves with family or things that remind them of home.  Cancerians are emotional, at times overly sensitive, thrifty, sentimental and can make great chefs.  Strengths: strong sixth sense, gentle, imaginative, careful, dedicated, kind and caring.
